Founder/Chief Creative Officer

Gerry’s advertising career has spanned agencies like Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, BBDO/NY (where he served two stints, including one as ECD), TBWA/Chiat/Day as ECD and Saatchi & Saatchi NY as CCO and member of the worldwide executive board. Ad Age’s Creativity magazine named him to the “Creativity 50”, “A multi-disciplinary account of the biggest and best thinkers and doers from 20 years of advertising and consumer culture.” In 2007, TBWA/Chiat/Day NY was recognized as the most creatively awarded agency and Gerry as the most creatively awarded creative director in the world. He dropped to third most awarded in the world in 2009. Gerry is married and has three kids. He lives in Manhattan.


Barney Robinson

Founding Partner/Chief Executive Officer

Before joining Barton F. Graf 9000, Barney was the Managing Director of Bartle Bogle Hegarty and a member of its Global Group Board. He worked for BBH for twelve years in both London and New York, most recently running the Axe and Google accounts. Barney recently completed his Executive MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.


Laura Janness

Chief Strategy Officer

Laura joins Barton F. Graf 9000 from Google Creative Lab, where she oversaw the launch of Chrome browser and OS. Before Google, Laura was a Planning Director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.


Scott Vitrone & Ian Reichenthal

Executive Creative Directors

Scott and Ian began their partnership 15 years ago at Wieden + Kennedy Portland, working on the Nike account – and most recently were the Executive Creative Directors of Wieden + Kennedy in New York.  In just a short time, they helped W+K New York grow with the addition of the Heineken, Southern Comfort and One Kings Lane accounts, and the New York office was named the #3 Independent Agency in the world at the 2013 Cannes Lions International Festival – the agency’s best showing ever.

Previously, Scott and Ian were the Chief Creative Officers at Y&R, NY. In less than two years at Y&R, they led a creative resurgence for the agency, winning the #1 agency in the U.S., and the #2 worldwide at the Cannes awards in 2010. Additionally, under their charge, Y&R was named to Creativity Magazine's “Agency of the Year A-List” for Most Improved Agency.

Prior to that, they worked at TBWA/Chiat/Day NY, where they created the long-running Skittles campaign and served as Group Creative Directors on Skittles, Starburst, Combos and Snickers. During that time, Scott and Ian were the most awarded creative team in the world, and Mars was named Client of the Year at the One Show.  During their career, they’ve helped their clients’ business grow while winning every industry award across a range of brands including Delta Airlines, Nike, Jordan, ESPN, Southern Comfort, Heineken, Target, Virgin Atlantic, Land Rover, LG, NHL, Sears, Little Caesars, Miller Brewing Company, Sprint and FedEx.



Josh Morse

Head of Integrated Production

Josh was the first staff producer at Barton and is responsible for producing many of the projects found on the work section of this website.  Prior to his time at Barton, Josh was the Integrated Production Director at TBWA/Chiat/Day NY where he oversaw production across all media for the Pernod Ricard brands Jameson Irish Whiskey and Kahlua.  While at Chiat he produced the award winning "Digital Death/Buy Life" Campaigns for the AIDS charity Keep a Child Alive.  Josh has been on production in every continent of the Earth but Antarctica, and has produced everything from big budget TV commercials to iOS and Android apps. He's a New York City native, Cornell graduate, and business school dropout.
